The concept of Pure Physiotherapy was developed in 2001 to provide high quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment at an affordable price. Our physiotherapists are specialists in treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal disorders and sports injuries. They have extensive experience through working in the NHS, private practice and within elite level sport both in the UK and abroad.
Some of the exciting and demanding environments that our clinicians have worked in the past and present include the European golf tour, British rugby league, Premier league football, National level swimming and basketball and international football.
Our clinicians will liaise closely with your GP and other medical experts (with your consent) to ensure optimum levels of communication and continuity of care.

Mr Phin Robinson

Phin has been qualified and working as a physiotherapist for over 8 years. After spending the last 2 years in Manchester working with national level athletes and private patients from a variety of backgrounds, he has chosen to bring his skills back to Yorkshire! Phin’s specialty areas are chronic pain, neck, shoulder and muscle/tendon problems. He is fully qualified in the use of acupuncture and manual therapy. He also works within the NHS as an Extended Scope Practitioner (Orthopaedic triage) and is highly competent particularly in relation to the differential diagnosis and treatment of complex and multicomponent musculoskeletal problems.

Mr Nigel Tilley

Nigel has worked extensively within a variety of healthcare and elite sporting environments in the UK and abroad over the last 8 years since qualifying as a physiotherapist. This has enabled him to gain extensive experience in the ability to diagnose and treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal disorders, particularly spinal and lower limb problems and biomechanical and functional screening. Nigel is fully qualified in the use of acupuncture and manipulation and use’s it extensively within the treatment of many conditions. He works as a consultant physiotherapist to the European PGA Tour for extended periods of the year, and specific appointments with him are therefore more limited than with some of our other physiotherapists.
In September 2006 he undertook a Masters in Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Sheffield Hallam University with Phin Robinson which is nearly completed.

Vicki is a specialist physiotherapist with Pure Physiotherapist and the NHS who has been qualified and working as a physiotherapist for over 8 years. She now specialises in Neurological and rehabilitative Physiotherapy. Her particular areas of interest are complex neurological injuries and implementing return to work programmes for chronic pain patients.
