Home / Conditions / Post-Operative Physiotherapy

Introduction

Following any orthopaedic surgery, Physiotherapy is an essential part of the rehabilitation and recovery phase. Physiotherapy is aimed at restoring range of movement, strength and function as well as helping you put weight back through your limb and return to normal function.

Pure Physiotherapy works closely with Orthopaedic Surgeons from all over the region to help patients recover from surgery. We have helped designed post-operative protocols and make sure we work collaboratively with surgeons in the initial stages to ensure a good outcome.

We Work With Patients Following:

  • Hip resurfacing.
  • Hip Arthroscopy.
  • Hip fractures.
  • Patello-femoral joint replacement.
  • Lateral release.
  • Cartilage repair/microfracture.
  • Rotator cuff tear/repair.
  • Osteotomies.
  • Ankle replacement.
  • Foot surgery.

Google Review December 2019
"I have never had acupuncture before and I can't believe the difference it has made for my chronic back pain. I am now able to control the symptoms and have got back my normal life."
Mrs Hacker
"I was told by a previous physio that nothing could be done for my ankle problem and I would never play football again. Having received expert treatment and by following a specific programme, I have returned to 5-a-side once a week."
Mr J Arthur
