The exercise programmes below have been designed by our physiotherapists in order to help people manage their symptoms and keep you on the path to recovery.

We have grouped areas of the body together so you can find what you need easier.

Each ‘condition’ has three levels of exercise programme (early, intermediate and advanced). Please progress though the levels as you feel able, but don’t rush. Each level may take a week, two or even three to master before moving to the next level.

Often the advanced level exercise is only needed if you want to function at high levels, such as for sport or heavy physical work.

The exercises may bring on some pain but stick within a level you are happy to tolerate (some discomfort is normal). If you are worried, please feel free to contact your Physiotherapist.
