Exercises

On this page, our Physiotherapists at Pure have worked collaboratively to compile an exercise rehabilitation plan which we recommend performing at home for help with your recovery.

This relatively general programme is designed to maintain and increase thumb strength, ensuring function is maintained and to build robustness for greater tolerance to the normal loads and activities required of the joint(s).

If you experience continual worsening of pain/symptoms whilst performing any prescribed exercises, we recommended that you stop and contact your Physiotherapist.

"I was told by a previous physio that nothing could be done for my ankle problem and I would never play football again. Having received expert treatment and by following a specific programme, I have returned to 5-a-side once a week."
Mr J Arthur
"I've never know pain like Sciatica. Following a referral made by my doctor, I was seen by a really friendly physiotherapist. I can't believe the difference in 4 sessions - Many thanks."
